The day we have all seen coming from afar, now has arrived: EuroHarmony is winding down.
With a touch of sadness because the inevitable is upon us, but also with pride for all that we have accomplished over the years, we have decided that it is now time to retire our VA.
The number of active pilots, and subsequently the number of flights, has decreased over the last few years to a level that does not warrant keeping the VA "alive". What would be needed to get a new influx of pilots is realistically not going to happen. So we have decided it is best to retire the VA from this point forward.
This means that the website will remain up and running, at least for the foreseeable future, and that you will still be able to fly with your EHM callsign, file your PIREPs (either manually, of through FlightLogger), but there will be no more support when issues arise, and no more manual checking of PIREPs. Probably, the forum will become read-only too, so that at least the information in there is still accessible.
It's a pitty that the inevitable day has come, but we look back on 25 years of happy memories!
